The complete number of Kyrgyzstan casinos is a fact in some dispute. As data from this country, out in the very most central area of Central Asia, tends to be difficult to receive, this may not be all that difficult to believe. Given the amazing likeness in the size and setup of these 2 Kyrgyzstan casinos, it may be even more surprising to determine that both are at the same address. This seems most strange, so we can no doubt conclude that the number of Kyrgyzstan’s gambling halls, at least the accredited ones, is limited to two casinos, one of them having changed their title recently.

The state, in common with practically all of the ex-USSR, has experienced something of a fast conversion to capitalism. The Wild East, you might say, to reference the anarchical circumstances of the Wild West a century and a half back.

Kyrgyzstan’s gambling dens are in reality worth checking out, therefore, as a bit of social research, to see chips being played as a type of communal one-upmanship, the celebrated consumption that Thorstein Veblen spoke about in 19th century u.s.a..
